Congratulations to local @Conservatives who have, through their own very hard work, kept control of Fareham Borough Council tonight. Commiserations to those candidates who did not win tonight. Keeping council tax down & delivering excellent services locally won this election.

The polls are open in Fareham & Waterlooville. Well done to all @Conservatives candidates for positive campaigns to keep council tax low & deliver 1st class services locally. I’m proud to have voted for @DonnaJonesPCC to continue as our excellent Police & Crime Commissioner.

95,000 children around the country have special education needs & attend independent schools. They are wonderful schools supporting children with complex needs. Labour’s cruel policy to add 20% to fees will price many of these vulnerable children out of life-changing education.

The UK is right to oppose attempts by Ireland to force illegal migrants back to us. Ireland’s position is intellectually incoherent. No migrant can be re-located to another sovereign state without that state’s consent. 1/2
